Hw#2 Obama Abortion
When it comes to the issue of abortion Sen. Barack Obama has a pro-choice stance. He believes that a woman should have the right to decide if she wants to have an abortion or not. However, he believes that late term abortion should be banned due to the fact that it puts the mother's life in danger.Sen. Obama believes that congress can find a way to satisfy those who are pro-life and those who are pro-choice.In addition,Sen. Obama has made it clear opinion on when life begins. Also,he believes the way to limit the dispute over this issue is increase awareness of safe sex.I understand the opinion of someone who is pro-choice but I believe its still immoral for a human to decided wheter another should live.

Hw #1-McCain Abortion
John McCain view on abortion is, it should be banned in all states. However, he believes that it should be allowed in the case of rape, incest, and saving the life of the mother. This view is not based on his christian belief because he is for stem cell research but he credits good moral for his choice to be pro-life.I agree with the choice to ban abortion but if McCain plans on allowing abortion in some cases, wouldn't mothers that don't want to birth a child just lie and say they were raped in order to have an abortion? This plan to allow abortions for rape victims or victims of incest may just back fire because mothers that want abortions may just lie about being raped and may put the blame on any innocent man just so they can get an abortion. He should just ban abortion and create programs for mothers to birth their child and give it away for adoption with no questions asked.

HW2 - McCain's Stand on Technology
Amazingly enough, it would seem that McCain and Obama relatively see eye to eye when it comes to technology in the United States. Both campaigns have almost the same exact wording, with the exception of McCain's feelings towards net-neutrality, which he finds to be too prescriptive. On this topic, I would find myself able to side with either candidate as their viewpoints are nearly identical.

HW1 - Obama's Stand on Techonology
In the 21st century, advances in information technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology and other fields are reshaping the global economy. Sadly, America has fallen from its position as world leader in technology over the years. Obama has therefore developed a plan in order guarantee that the United States will be able to keep up in the ever changing global economy. This plan includes, but is not limited to:
- The ability to ensure the full and free exchange of ideas through an open internet and diverse media outlets by encouraging diversity in media ownership and network neutrality while keeping personal privacy safe.
- Creating a transparent and connected democracy by using today's innovations to give citizens a better handle on government decisions.
- Providing broadband Internet access to all American citizens.
- Improving America's competitiveness by investing in stronger math and science educations for our youth and promoting stronger enforcement of copyright and trademark laws overseas.
Due to my interest in a technological field of work (graphic design/game design), I completely agree with the measures Obama plans to put in place. They will ensure that my ideas for new games will not go unheard, and as I develop my own name, protect my work through new copyright and trademark laws.

Economics
John McCain's plan to help economic growth is place low individual tax rates and tax cut for small business. In addition, McCain believes in keeping jobs here to not in other countries. Also, he plans on reducing federal borrowing and control government spending to balance the bugdet. He also believes in stopping wasteful spending.McCain would also reduce America dependence on foreign oil. This plan would not impact me because i dont believe it will work, because with a war going on its hard to believe there will be a reduction in government spending.

Economics

Barack Obama believes that in order to retore our country by helping small businesses and supporting the Technology, Innovation jobs. He is going to create more jobs that way the unemployment rate will decrease. If unemployment decreases because we are devloping new techonology that gives us more to sell and that way our forigen markert will also profit which will help us in trade and paying back all the loans from other countries that we needed to get out of our current situation. The Obama Biden plan will have a direct effect on my family because my mother works in the stock market so
his plan will either keep her in a job or take her out of a job. It will also effect my family because we have a small business which is a daycare and afterschool center. If no one is working then there is no need to send their children to an afterschool program because the parents are home and then that way the children can go straight home after school which would make us lose business. Obamas plan to help small businesses will benefit the ceconmy because everything is not big business, you have to start from the bottom and work your way to the top. If the "little" people are doing well then they have money to spend on the bigger businesses which would deinitelt boost our economy which is what i think Obama is trying to do.

Middle East 10/14/08
Barack Obama views on the middle east is there should be a phased withdrawal of troops in Iraq. This can be done through a time table of 1 to 2 brigades a month. As troops leave the iraqi forces will have to step up and take control. However, A base should still be located in that country.Overall this idea sounds great. But,after most troops leave Iraq maybe overrun by terrorist. Thus, leaving Iraq in a worst state then when we entered and may cause civilian to dislike Americans and support the terrorist.

Middle East
John McCain is support of the war in Iraq and the surge policy. McCain says that it would be wrong to pull out of Iraq before they are completly stable and we need to increase troops there to insure that our purpose there is fufilled. The United Stated government has implemented six cities as benchmarks and of the six four were succesful. He says that alot more work is needed and that withdrawal now is wrong we need to continue the fight. He says that they need to create a government that can serve all Iraquis and not justs some in some cities. I dont believe that we need to interfear in other countries domestic policy because it only puts out counrty into more debt and cuts our population. No one dies and is not missed someone is a son to someone and a brother and a grandson, when that person is lost it is a tremendous loss to that family. Theres nothing that we can do about the war now because we are already involved but we can attempt to pull out as soon as we can. Sending more troops there is not benificial to anyone especiall not the new employees of the military.

No Child Left Behind
obama as plan to help''College costs have grown nearly 40 percent in the past five years. The average graduate leaves college with over $19,000 in debt. And between 2001 and 2010, 2 million academically qualified students will not go to college because they cannot afford it. Finally, our complicated maze of tax credits and applications leaves too many students unaware of financial aid available to them''.france
John McCain- Healthcare
John McCain believes that healthcare should be available to every American. The decision on what type of healthcare is need should belong to the patient. Healthcare should follow you from job to job.

Domestic Policy- Obama's Healthcare Plan
According to what's stated on his campaign website, Obama's plan for healthcare is as follows:
- Lower drug costs through importation of safe medicines from other developed countries.
- Have insurance companies cover everything, including pre-exisiting health conditions.
- If you're happy with your insurance company, you can keep it, and if you don't have one, find an affordable one.
I agree with all of these sentiments, especially the first. Right now many people have a hard time paying for their prescriptions because insurance does not cover for them. For this reason, some people actually resort to buying their prescription 10 pills at a time or, of the many prescriptions they may be taking, one bottel at a time of the most necessary medicine.

Domestic Policy- Obamas Education
Obama and Biden are calling for an entire reformation in the education system. Rather than reform the child in the low performance school they are going to reform the entire school. They are going to adress the drop out crisis which means that they will attempt to increase parent involvment and they will attempt to give a batter acedimic plan, one that children can avide by and that will hopefully decrease the dropout rate. They also want ceople from low income families to attend college and they intend to institute college outreach programs. I think that their stand is great. Taking the child out of a crappy school doesnt make the situation any better because there are still hundreds of children there learning little to nothing. By helping low income families so that their children can attend college not only helps the child but in the long run it helos our economy because we will have people who are certified in more jobs which means our nation will prosper even more than before.
